Microsoft publishes latest Security Intelligence Report

The most recent security report from Microsoft covering the 1^st half of 2009 makes for interesting reading. The findings for the UK are that the majority of infections/detections are related to malware. Actual virus detections are lower due to better adoption of anti-virus software. The main threat is unwanted software which can be malicious and is therefore deemed as a high security threat to networks.
